Minster Veterinary Surgery is a long-established, independent and exclusively small animal practice. The partners, Joyce Fleming and Ross O'Brien, have been qualified 18 and 15 years respectively, and took over the practice in September 2005.

The practice is equipped with up-to-date facilities, including an in-house laboratory,  and can perform high-frequency radiography and doppler ultrasonography.  The main practice is in central Ilminster with branches in Chard and South Petherton.

The experienced and qualified nurses perform dental clinics, weight clinics and puppy checks and this is often a good time to discuss any concerns a client may have. These services are free of charge.

One of our three veterinary surgeons and one of four veterinary nurses are on call 24 hours a day 7 days a week providing emergency treatment when the practice is closed.

We treat every patient as we would like our own to be treated - with tenderness and understanding. We deal with all problems, big or small, and each is as important as the next. Ultimately, we care for your pet almost as much as you do.
